I am so thrilled with the IAB site you 
have created, incredibly fantastic, 
I am still absorbing all the items, 
it is really great.
 
If only I had known before, I would have 
attended the  reunions for sure.
 
I flew with IAB from 1973 or 74 till I think 
1976. Itīs a long time ago.  
 
After leaving Nassau for the Uk, I flew for 
Dan Air and later for British Caledonian 
Airways.
 
I met my husband in Freetown////not Freeport//  
married and had 3 wonderful boys. We lived 
between England and Sierra Leone.
 
As you may know the situation in Sierra Leone 
got really dangerous around 1991 and being 
pregnant with my third, I fled while the rebels 
were moving in from Liberia, a very disturbing 
time. I arrived back in Holland with 2 boys and 
pregnant with the last who was born in Holland.
 
Now I am back in Holland since 1991 and happy 
with my 3 boys, 27/23/17 years old.
 
I work for KLm for the last 9 years as a gate 
agent for KLM, live in Bergen, close to the 
beach. Thatīs my life in a nutshell!
 
Finding the website brought back so many 
memories and recognising so many people, 
especially Joyce who I was really good friends  
with.

I met Anneke in Lagos, Nigeria while flying 
for Caledonian, she was sitting at the pool, 
what a coincidence but again a long time ago.
 

I will be able to hopefully connect with all 
the others that were my colleages.
  
What a great time that was. It was a dream 
having had such good times and now all the 
memories are coming back after such a long 
time of not even thinking about it.
